There are two kinds of air-conditioning through wall pipelines, one is near vertical and the other is near horizontal. For the former, fire prevention is extremely necessary, for the latter, fire prevention is necessary.

The first step is to use a knife to peel off the outer coating of the pipeline and expose the pipeline itself. The stripping distance is about 10 cm.


The second step is to pour at least one hundred millilitre and preferably two hundred and fifty millilitre of water glass into the thermal insulation foam outside the two copper pipes, and slowly carry out the process several times in a small amount. This step may be omitted.

The third step is to cut the return warter pipe about five to ten centmeter, and connect it with a metal pipe of similar diameter. Other glue such as double group wound glue can be selected. I use cloth glue.

The fourth step is to fill the space stripped in the first step with plaster of Paris, add proper amount of water and form a semi-rigid paste, and polish it by hand.

It is suggested that the national legislation require the air conditioner manufacturer to provide fireproof air conditioner through wall cable sets, which have fire protection function when the air conditioner is installed for the first time.
